G4 Ice Cream Filler
Runchen©KruntTM-G4 is an ice cream filler. The machine dispenses cups, cones, and bulk containers one by one from the dispenser stack and places them in the socket rings, ready for filling. Filling of the ice cream, sorbet or water ice takes place by means of either time-elapse filler, volumetric filler or extrusion filler. In the case of extruded ice cream, a cutting mechanism is also included.
Decoration with a number of different solid ingredients is possible and there is a full range of optional decoration equipment available for the Runchen©KruntTM-G4.
The lid dispensing function can be chosen from a number of available techniques, depending on the type of the product, also heat sealing using pre-cut foil is possible. The machine also has automatic handling systems, such as a pick-and-place transfer unit, are available.

Standard design
The Main Motor System
The Runchen KruntTM-G4 is built on a sturdy stainless steel frame. The filler is designed to meet the highest hygienic standard, including a fully open frame which avoids water traps and allows for efficient hose-down cleaning. Spray nozzles for bracket cleaning are configured as an attachment in standard type.
Stainless steel conveyor chains with a pitch of 70mm carry the molds which are mounted onto the chains by means of “ quick lock ” screws for easy replacement without the need for lubrication.The machine is available with two different indexing pitches. The machine with an indexing pitch of 140mm is for smaller products whereas the machine with an indexing pitch of 210mm can handle larger family-size and bulk containers. It is not required to change chains when changing different pitch of molds.
Main Driving System
A variable frequency motor drives the main cam activating the cup or container dispenser and ejector. The straight movements of the socket slat conveyors are mechanically synchronized with the main drive by means of the traction machinery. The rotary encoder transfers periodic signal to the PLC for accurate control of the smooth operation of all parts activated by the cylinder.
Control System
Runchen©KruntTM-G4 filler controls all operations of system by the central PLC. With PLC, the ice cream production can be controlled accurately, and the replacement of products will be very convenient. It has 2MB data storage space, and could start and stop automatically. Tens of products can be pre programmed. Products data would be shown on the PLC screen, and the whole control panel is equipped with touch buttons and digital display screens, providing convenient operation and monitoring.
Compressed Air and Vacuum System
For food hygiene reasons, all pneumatic components are made from materials which are free of corrosion and lubrication. All valves are electrically activated and are built into a stainless steel cabinet above the machine. The standard machines are fully selected from Festo products. The vacuum system parts which are required for the cup, container and lid dispensing attachments consist of professional vacuum valves.
Machine Extra Advantages
According to the understanding of ice cream industry and practical experience, some improvements in terms of layout, function extension, control, change-over and maintenance are made on the Runchen KruntTM-G4 ice cream filler.
Longer and More Stable Framework
The machine length is extended to 5m(1m longer than the current popular 4m frame) to provide more space for manual operation and more positions for additional working stations. Support of the machine framework is increased from 4 pieces to 6 pieces which reinforces the strength of the machine for steadier running.
Servo Motor Drive for Filling Station
Siemens S7-300 PLC is equipped on standard machine, servo motor drive for the filling station can be operated without additional change. The movement of the filling is programmable via the operation panel to simulate different kinds of cam curve, the curve data can be saved and recalled. This makes product change-over and innovation very convenient.
Temperature Control of Chocolate System
The heating system and temperature control system for both chocolate spraying and topping system are standard design to avoid chocolate stuck in the low ambient temperature.
Lid Unscrambler Unit
The lid unscrambler unit further improves the stability of the lid dispensing accuracy to ensure the the rate of success of the lid pushing, and the product aesthetic.

Supporting Spare Parts
To ensure machine performance, it is recommended to use original parts which can be easily ordered according to the spare parts manual. In order to simplify customers' spare parts reserve work and also to protect customers' original spare parts investment, Runchen Krunt-G4 filler is designed to use most of the compatible parts in the market, including 140 mm die molds, work stations, structure parts, driving parts for example sprocket and chain, electric heating elements and etc.
There is potential instability when using spare parts from other machines, and may damage the machine. Therefore, please consult us to confirm whether the pasts are suitable before using. Similarly, it should also be consulted before applying spare parts of Runchen Krunt-G4 to other similar devices.
